He would be running as an independent progressive voice on the Democratic ticket, because our state needs bold leadership that fights for economic justice, rural prosperity, affordable healthcare, quality education, voting rights, and real reforms in taxes/budget concerns. Rus has lived and worked in Arkansas for over 30 years, from the small towns to the big cities, and he knows firsthand what our communities are facing—because he has lived it.
