I’m running for Fayetteville City Council because I love this city. I’ve lived here for 17 years, I’m raising my family here, and I care deeply about the people who make this community what it is.
Through my work in the nonprofit space, and especially in poverty reduction, I’ve seen firsthand how local policy can help or hinder families who are working hard to build a better life. We all want the same basic things: food on the table, a safe place to sleep, good schools for our kids, and the opportunity to live healthy, joyful lives.
Belonging, community, and relationships are at the core of my personal and professional life. Through my time at Circles NWA, I’ve seen that when people have strong relationships and a sense of belonging, it sparks hope, and that hope is what helps people move from surviving to thriving. That’s the kind of Fayetteville I want to help strengthen and grow.
If elected, I look forward to collaborating with fellow council members, the mayor, city staff, local businesses, the University of Arkansas, and residents across Ward 3. No one has all the answers, but I believe that together, with openness, humility, and shared purpose, we can make smart, people-first decisions that help Fayetteville thrive.
