“I believe the citizens of District 7, and the citizens of Baxter County as a whole, deserve a JP on the Quorum Court who is a forward thinker. While these races are forced into partisan positions, they shouldn’t be.
The Quorum court is where we go to have discussions on the things that impact our quality our life, our election integrity, and our priorities as a county. I believe in sustainability, I also believe that if you aren’t growing you are stagnating. I’m a strong supporter of our local schools and a strong supporter of local business.

I’m a local business owner myself and I’ve dedicated my career at this point to showing people the magic of Arkansas through my work in video production and photography. My work with Huber Media Co has led me to many discussions with the area’s largest employers, with the movers and shakers of education, workforce development, tourism, and commerce. Our work has won awards showing off the best of what Mountain Home has to offer.

I believe in election integrity and that we have a tried and tested system. I come from a family of mechanics and we believe if it is not broken, don’t fix it. I want to be a voice of reason. Like most Arkansans, I hunt when I can, camp when I can, and spend the rest of my time chasing the American Dream and enjoying married life.

At 38 years old, I would be the youngest JP on the court. I hope to serve the public in a way that can bridge my education, experience, and hustle with the wisdom and experience of the greater court. I’d appreciate your support.” - Derek Huber
