A homeless man named Rat, dressed in tattered business clothes, navigates through a city where people barely notice him. He makes a living selling flowers, clinging to small moments of human connection. Among the indifferent crowd, a curious kid, starved of love from his parents, finds solace in Rat’s presence. As their bond deepens, they become unlikely brothers—both searching for the love they’ve never had. When Rat loses his shelter, frustration pushes him to the edge. A violent encounter forces him to confront his rage, but through the kid’s unwavering gaze, he finds the answer: love is survival.
We are a team of young passionate filmmakers fresh out of college, embarking on our first independent project, and we’re very excited to spread the message that everyone matters! Our Director, Ren Tsukamoto, had a profound experience staying in a homeless shelter over our previous winter break. This gave him the inspiration needed to create a film about the fact that everyone matters. He actively served food and provided other services to learn more about the struggles faced by homeless individuals. Therefore, this project is not just a film; it’s a movement, and as we’re just starting out, we would really love to have your help to bringing this important message to life! Our fundraising goal is to raise $25,000 in order to pay for things such as our talent, crew, lodging, travel, and locations. We are extremely grateful for all help!
Thank you in advance for your support.
