As concerned citizens from communities across Arkansas, we have witnessed firsthand the effects of unregulated crypto mining on our environment, resources, health, quality of life and foundational freedoms to protect ourselves. From excessive water usage to noise pollution, from air quality concerns to unsustainable energy consumption and legal bullying of our local officials and citizens, these operations are changing the fabric of our communities – and not for the better.
The Committee to Protect Arkansas was formed to take action. Our mission is to:
Advocate for comprehensive state-level regulations at the Arkansas Oil & Gas Commission Ensure transparency and accountability in the crypto mining industry Address community concerns about noise and energy consumption
