At a time when LGBTQIA+ rights are being stripped away across the country, Tippi & Barb is more than a film - it's a call to action. This award-winning short documentary by Arkansas filmmaker Brad Burleson tells the powerful love story of Tippi McCullough and Barbara Mariani, two trailblazers who have spent their lives breaking barriers and advocating for equality. From a time when they had to live in the shadows to becoming respected leaders, their journey is a testament of love, resilience, and the power of standing together. 
Since premiering to a sold-out crowd at the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, Tippi & Barb has continued to resonate, winning the Audience Choice Award at the Persistence of Vision Film Festival (formerly Arkansas Shorts) and selling out an Arkansas Cinema Society screening at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts in February. The film has also been a featured story on ABC and CBS  including the Arkansas Times and Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. 

But the work is far from over. Now, more than ever, it's critical to get this story in front of as many people as possible - to spark dialogue, inspire hope, and remind the world why equality must never be taken for granted. 

Every dollar raised will go directly toward expanding the film's reach through festival submissions, marketing, and travel, ensuring Tippi & Barb is seen in prestigious film festivals and beyond.
