At Rocktown Real Fund, we believe people deserve more than judgment. They deserve neighbors.
Through our Community Grocery Initiative, we provide direct grocery assistance to local families experiencing temporary or ongoing financial hardship. Families tell us what they need. We help make it happen.
There are no approved shopping lists.
No debates over whether someone "deserves" fresh fruit, diapers, birthday cake ingredients, or a favorite cereal.
We trust people to know what their own families need.
When funding is available, grocery orders are placed through Instacart or Kroger and delivered directly to families' homes. As a registered nonprofit partner with Instacart, we are able to maximize donations by avoiding sales tax and delivery fees while still tipping drivers.
Every donation helps move another family off the waiting list and into a season with one less impossible decision to make.
