Spare Change Roundup
Fifty-one years ago, a few of us started a scrappy newspaper with one simple rule: tell the truth and take the heat. We’ve done plenty of both. Arkansas Times has told the truth about this state: the good, the bad, and the downright ridiculous. We’ve covered voucher scams, crooked contracts, and every half-baked “reform” meant to benefit the powerful instead of the people. We’ve been boycotted, burned out, and written off.
