A year after their Mother’s death, brothers, Toni and Freddie reunite in their hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas to handle their Mom’s beloved restaurant that sits on the historic, yet desolate, West 9th Street. Toni’s business acumen and love for the community’s history, supposedly matches perfectly with Freddie’s passion for cooking and vision for the community’s future, however the two must confront their unresolved grief. Before long, the community steps into their lives and these new players help, hurt, and challenge the brothers’ ambitions. Makes sense for Toni and Freddie to reopen the restaurant’s doors…right?
